Tale of the Tape - predictions for finals stages CWC 2015

Ok so teams are building.  Momentum is happening. Preparations well advanced.  Not many surprises in some tourneys happening in the Southern Hemisphere at the moment, but that's generally not a good indication of how well teams will go under extreme duress.  The prize of that cup at the end of the tournament does some strange things to players and teams and things change really quick.

The minnows it is fair to say won't feature but I'm thinking look to Ireland to topple a disjointed Windies team, and a few other scalps (not big ones).  Look for teams that have apparently struggled turn that around and upset favourites (England and Sri Lanka to beat Aussie, India and Pakistan to beat South Africa,)  Yup juicy propositions.


I have gone through the main draw and picked my winners.  You might not agree in fact probably won't but here are my final placings in pool play:
