My Theory on Climate Change

The current topic is Climate Change and debate aplenty on how or why. The current thinking is carbon emissions and largely blamed on Human Endeavours.  Although there is some merit in this thinking, but I defer.

In the past 7 years Wild Weather has been the catch cry, but to be honest this is bigger than just pollution.  I have always said climate is cyclic and the weather we have now would occur exactly every 300 years or every 25,000.  As we only have sketchy recordings in modern times it's hard to gauge when and how it occurred.

I am also a stargazer.  Every hour I go outside and have a cigarette and if the sky is clear I map the movements of the stars.  My first indication that things were not as they should be, was early 2019 when the Southern Cross disappeared in the southwestern skies. It has not returned.  The Milky Way has also shifted from the North through East to South and now is Northwest - through North and East to Southeast.

Not a biggy you say.  My theory on Climate change is that the Earth has shifted on its axis.  My theory says before 2019 the Magnetic Poles were 20 degrees east from True Poles.and have since shifted even further southeast.

I'm not sure if the True Poles have followed suit but current weather patterns (and stars mapping) suggest that it may be so. I feel the North Magnetic Pole has shifted from Northwest Territory to South Saskatchewan (Canada) hence more Ice storms over Canada and USA. In the past 3 years, the annual bushfires in Australia and USA have been few, instead they have suffered many devastating floods.

I think too that the shifting of the poles is responsible for the Ice Caps melting.

Synopsis.  Change, Adapt, Overcome.
