Tale of the Tape - Martin Crowe versus Kane Williamson

Born 1962 first selected for New Zealand 1982.  Between then and the age of 24 years and three months he scored 1845 runs at an average of 40.1 going past 50 11 times and past 100 five times with a highest score of 188.

Arguably New Zealand's best ever batsman.

Born 1990 first selected for New Zealand  2010.  Between then and now aged 24 years and 3 months he has scored 2641 runs at an average of 41.3 going past 50 20 times and past 100 8 times with a highest score of 192.

Arguably the best prospect ever for New Zealand Cricket.

  1. Interesting detail. When taking the last 20 innings for both batsmen in the survey period Crowe averaged 51.6 and Williamson averages 62.8.
