Just a thought. A lot of roads north and south of Auckland and north of Wellington have many horror accidents, many with deaths in crashes. So what did all have in common?
Many crashes happen when the motorway ends and two lane highways take over. Both Auckland and Wellington drivers spend all their days driving on motorways where there are medium barriers and lane separation. Suddenly confronted with no barrier they lose the ability to keep in the immediate left and they hug the centreline causing accidents.
