Love at first kiss.

Between 1976 and 1985 I never really had a girlfriend. Typical sailor - slayed where they laid. Until October 11th 1985. It was my birthday and I was bored. I remembered my classmate in BCT's Craig Warner, shared my birthday so with that in mind toddled off to his place in Marsden Crescent. He and his wife were entertaining this good looking blonde lady. I was literally blinded by her beauty as I had no memory of what she looked like. After telling countless jokes I returned home (1 Lake Road Devonport.) I got up at about midday and was sitting in the lounge when there was a knock on the door. I answered it and Craigs wife and the good looking rooster from the night before stood there. I asked them in and made them drinks. Craigs Wife went to the tiolet and Marita (loved her name) shuffled over to me on the couch and planted the most wickedess of kisses on my lips!! WHOA!! Hooked!! 4 months later we were engaged, and 7 months later we were married. Although separated we still remain great friends. I know there were some bad times but mostly great times. Thank you for being a great wife and more importantlysupreme mother to our girls. And thank you Craig for sharing our birthdays.
