My photographic Memoir. Gear Talk.

My very first look at a Camera was Dad taking slides (Leica SLR) wherever he went (I was later to digitise all). Only Mum was allowed to use it and begrudgingly.  When I turned 14ish Dad bought me a little Kodak Instamatic which was great for me as I learned early I had a photographic eye.  I had that camera until 1978 (when I was in the Navy) when our ship berthed in Sembawang Docks,  Singapore.  I bought what I consider my best ever camera - Yashica TL Electro SLR.  I was to have (and use widely) that camera for 16 years.  My favourite film medium with that camera was Black and Whites.  Oh a young high school student bought the Yashica for her school studies.

From 1994 until 2002 my only camera was a point and shoot mini digital. From 2002 to 2009 I had no camera. Then in 2009 I bought a secondhand Olympus C2100UZ digital (Superzoom).  To be honest it was weak for taking images but it gave me the Olympus Bug (colours).  I traded it  in early 2010 for an Olympus FE210 Point and Shoot Digital. I used it for many photographs enhancing my poetry.  Blues to die for.

In 2011 I retired the FE210 and traded up to a secondhand Olympus E500 8MP DSLR (Twin Lens Kit).  WOW!!  Soon after I was offered an Olympus 12MP E620 DSLR (also twin lens kit) (Double WOW) and from then until 2015 you could see me all over the country armed with two cameras at all times. I only now have my cell cam (Samsung S5) as I sold on my cameras.

Following Camera pics to accompany this blurb.
