Navy Memoir Instructions

You don't need to be a great writer to write your memoirs.  It is a very simple process.  Below I will guide your journey.

The first thing I do is make up a working title. Titles have a means to stimulating the writing fluids.  Simple but catchy.

Next step is to layout a timeline.  You can either have each year, or aligned to your postings.  Both are sweet.

Next step is to go through the timelines and flesh them out with detail.  This step you can just add subtitles, i.e events in short.

So far it is simple.  The next stage is not foreign to Jacks, add the waffle factor, i.e flesh out the story.  Last step is three fold.  Proofread (grammar, spelling, context), continue to recheck data and lastly  read one more time.

You can create your memoir in MS Word (or similar) and register a Blogspot.com bloggers page to publish online.

Once you have registered a Blog page go to Post and hit New Post to add a Blog. Title your Blog.  Copy your Word memoir text and Paste it to your open blog.  Once happy with your blog, Publish it. Then go back to Post and click on View under your new blog.  Copy the opened URL and post in designated FB page or other.  You also have the ability to edit later if you spot a mistake or to add more data. Go to Post and click on Edit for the Blog you need, edit and Update.

You don't have to place it online, just have a copy for your whanau/mates. Once done you have a valid story.

I am available 24/7 for any help. I know this seems brief but it really is simple.
