2020 Marijuana Referendum

2020 is the year the Government puts in place the Referendum on Legislation for Marijuana - be it Recreational or Medicinal (or both). My thoughts - Yes for Medicinal and No for Recreational (i.e Joint smoking/Bong)

Bit of an Oxymoron as in 2025 the target date for Tobacco Products will be illegal. Commonsense says Recreational (Joint Smoking) can not (and will not) be legalised. As far as I am aware decriminalizing recreational smoking is fine, with strict controls. Medicinal appears to be a viable option.

If marijuana Smoking is permitted then I advocate also that Smoking Tobacco "for medicinal purposes" be brought into law. Like medicinal marijuana there is strong evidence to allow folks to Smoke Tobacco. As at 2015 the numbers of Mental Health clients smoking cigarettes stood at 62% of all clients. It is proven that Nicotine assists in fighting Depression and Anxiety (widely known as taking a Chill Pill.)
